Abstract
In the present research, a quartic B-spline method is used for the solution of time-fractional telegraph equations. In the rst step the Caputo fractional derivative is applied to the time-fractional telegraph equation combined with nite dierence for time discretization, which reduces the problem to algebraic equations, which are solved. Finally, the numerical method proposed is demonstrated to be stable without any conditions by using the Fourier method. The error norms L2 and L1 are calculated in order to test accuracy. The two tested examples exhibited the obtained results that the method is an effective numerical scheme to solve fractional equations.
